My passion for carpentry didn't start with a power drill and a flat-pack box. It started in 2008, in the sawdust-filled workshop of a traditional joinery firm.

The Foundation (2008–2017)

I began my career as an apprentice learning the "hard way"—working exclusively with solid wood. In those early years, I spent my days crafting bespoke furniture, heavy external doors, and intricate window frames from scratch.

Working with solid timber taught me things you can’t learn from an instruction manual:

• How to respect the grain of the wood.

• The importance of structural integrity.

• The patience required for a perfect, flush finish.

Those years gave me a masterclass in durability and detail. If you can build a solid oak dresser from a raw plank, you develop an eye for quality that never leaves you.

The Modern Shift

As my career evolved, I saw a changing need in our homes. While people still love the look of wood, modern life demands efficiency, smart storage, and precision fitting. I decided to take my traditional "bench joiner" skillset and apply it to the heart of the home. Today, I specialize in:
